About me:

Midwest Training & Ice Center (MTIC) is the region's largest state-of-the-art training facility for Ice Hockey/Figure Skating and Gymnastics. MTIC was recently named the new home of the Chi-Town Shooters, a professional hockey team that was the first expansion team announced to the All American Hockey Association. MTIC provides the highest quality instruction to athletes of all ages and abilities. Sport specific training is available in gymnastics, ice hockey, figure skating, and cheerleading. For the recreational athlete, Midwest Training & Ice Center offers public skate sessions, pick-up hockey, and open gym. Midwest Fitness Center is located within the facility and features state-of-the-art strength & cardovascular equipment, one-on-one personal training, and saunas in both locker rooms. In addition to our sport specific training programs, Midwest Training & Ice Center is the proud home of the local high school hockey league, Maniax Youth Hockey Organization, Midwest Gymnastics and Trampoline & Tumbling Teams, Midwest X-Plosion, Cheerleading, along with twenty Adult Men's Hockey teams. MTIC current seating capacity for spectators is 1,500. Approximately 10,000 athletes, parents and spectators enter our building weekly. Many weekends are filled with Hockey Tournaments or Gymnastics Meets that bring in additional families from all over our region.
