Over 40 minutes across 9 tracks, printed with artwork by ..Sopp Collective.. on a tidy Digipak... $9.95 ..delivered... .. .. .. .. .. .... ....‘Version’ is an extremely strong debut album from Gobbe under his Mieli persona, with the explorations into minimal glitchy (and frequently dub-infused) techno on display amongst the nine tracks here easily of an equal standard to that emanating from highly-respected ‘clicks and cuts’ labels such as ~scape and Mille Plateaux. Whilst there are numerous frequent reference points that evoke comparisons with Gobbe’s material as TwoTone throughout ‘Version’, from even an initial listen, it soon becomes obvious that Mieli is a significantly different proposition, with much of the denser rhythmic propulsiveness stripped back in favour of fragile ambience. Fluttering and beautifully intricate, this is shimmering minimal electronics with a deep dub pulse that will delight fans of the likes of Pole, Vadislav Delay and Mille Plateaux. I also can’t really sign off without mentioning the gorgeous sleeve art by local design stars Sopp Collective that perfectly rounds off this sweet package. Highly recommended.".. ....     okay,
    so i got a request from a friend of mine,wanted me to work on a large sized painting for him,
    24x37...he wanted all these significant details and colors and textures in the painting...
    said he would give me 200 dollars for it...
    welp...i worked on the painting for about 3 weeks...FINISHED IT

    fed-exed the painting,
    didnt get a response...
    TILL TODAY..
    and now he's telling me that
    he doesnt really have the money.


    ughhh
    and my rent is due tomorrow.
    GO FIGURE lol

    so ripping myface off
    seems verrry reasonable.
