Influences
Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, The Mighty Bad Habits are alive and well and living in a constant state of hard-rocking blues. The latest incarnation of MBH features the funky back bone of Scott Sheehan on bass and Sam Raia on drums, the eccentric jazz and blues flavor of “T-Bone” Tim Miskell on keys, the mojo hand and sweet southern blues of Duke Raia on guitar, and the soulful singing and screaming of skull-shaved Kevin Desmond on vocals. The Mighty Bad Habits, reborn, have stayed true to their roots, continuing the tradition of playing the blues, but have now expanded their repertoire to incorporate the musical tastes of the latest line-up. Mixing the influences of Little Feat, The Doors, Jimmie Hendrix, Robert Cray, and Etta James, among others, to create something exciting in the world of rock and the blues, something only to be experienced and heard in its truest form, live. The music of The Mighty Bad Habits has proven to never disappoint in the past, and from the sound of things, it certainly won’t now or in the days yet to come. MBH is truly a hard habit to break.
