    Mighty Zorgon in its current form originated fall of 2006 in Chapel Hill, NC. The band strives for an eclectic sound focusing on energetic riffs and mathematical composition intertwined with poetic lyrics to produce songs both sonically pleasing and technically precise. Fadi's fast and accurate guitar playing lends well to Zack and Singhas' rhythmic chemistry, all of which is juxtaposed by the darker feelings Singhas' lyrics evokes. The band’s first release, Mighty Zorgon (Oct 2010) is the culmination of a decade’s worth of songwriting and tries to capture the musical variation that has come to define their style. The band is currently living in Austin, TX playing shows and planning upcoming tour dates for summer 2011.

Bio:

Based out of Austin by way of Chapel Hill, NC, Mighty Zorgon got its start when Brian and former guitarists Mitchel Harris and Matt Stump started jamming with Zack in the living room of their house in Chapel Hill. For several years the lineup changed until Fadi solidified the group in 2008. After playing around the Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill scene for two years, the band decided to move to Austin,TX to persue their career more intensively. Focused on not being pigeonholed into any one particular genre, Mighty Zorgon strives to incorportate many different musical styles to create a unique sound while still remaining true to their passion for energetic rock.
