I am bringing one of the best Denver music acts to Longmont tomorrow Rocktober 6th (Go Rockies). The Hornbuckle Brothers will play at The Eagle Grill off 16th and Hover. They go on at 9, so come watch the Rockies then enjoy some excellent rock and blues. The Hornbuckles will play till close for those going to the game come join us afterwards.
Only their sixth show and already on the front stage of the Gothic Theatre! Thursday August 23rd 2007. DvPs consists of an allstar lineup from the Denver music scene. Chris Chamberlayne former lead singer of "Dogs of Pleasure" and "Dead Heaven Cowboys" teams up with Pat Searcy an amazing guitarist with many years of stage presence and Jimmy "D" a beast on the drums (let's put it this way folks he is 6'4" of thunderous attitude, ripping the symbols and drums like you could only dream of). Then to fill the band with amazing backup vocals and rythum guitars you will find David Frisbee, the former lead singer of a popular Colorado group "Shoot Romeo". The backbone of the group or the silent leader (literally), you will find one of the most animated bass players ever to take the Colorado stage.......Eric Teman. Their talent speaks for itself and they are not scared to show people what they can do, just visit their myspace site and see their live preformances. If you are interested you can buy tickets online at ticketmaster.com or it is 5.00 for kids 16-20 and 21 and up without comps. If you are 21 and up, get ahold of the band and they will provide comp tickets so you can enjoy yourself Thursday night at no charge.
