Welcome to Musicians Institute Japan!
Musicians Institute, Hollywood, California, has been one of the most respected music education facilities in the world since its inception in 1976. Beginning as a guitar school, MI gradually expanded to include instruction in guitar, bass guitar, drums, vocals and keyboards. In the last ten years Musicians Institute has expanded further to include instruction in recording, music business, guitar building and film.
In 1995 guitar manufacturer E.S.P. entered into a partnership with Musicians Institute, and soon after began a new music education
venture here in Japan called MI Japan. Small to start, MI Japan grew
- and today as Musicians Institute Japan schools are thriving in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, Fukuoka, and Sendai. Though located half way across the world, Musicians Institute Japan shares MI Hollywood's philosophy of preparing students for a life of being a professional musician. Instructors who are out working in the music industry bring back a wealth of real-world knowledge and experience to share with their students.

Musicians Institute Japan （以下MI Japan） は、アメリカのカリフォルニア州LA Hollywoodにある世界最大級の音楽学校Musicians Instituteを本校に持つ日本で唯一の音楽学校です。1995年に創設されたMI Japanは、日本にいながらにして本場の音楽に対するアプローチを学べる環境を作ろうという発想のもとにHollywood本校の直系分校として東京でスタートしました。アメリカ本校で使っているカリキュラムを日本でも使用し、音楽のスタイル、経験、個人差に関係なく、世界のスタンダードで自分の音楽を作り続けるミュージシャンを育てることをモットーにしています。
