I have been singing since I was 18 months old... Starting with the Little Mermaid. My mom was shocked to find that I was hitting all the notes! So to keep me from developing bad habits early, she placed me in private voice lessons when I was 6 years old.
Throughout the years, I have studied with many teachers, most notably Dean Kaelin, Kim Clayton, George Dyer, Kirsten Gunlogson, Mindy Pack, and Dan Whitley. My range of vocal styles include pop, country, R&B, rock, musicals, and even classical and opera.
I am currently taking a break from voice lessons to let my jaw heal somewhat. Last summer, I was diagnosed with a severe TMJ disorder and osteoarthritis in my right jaw. I did physical therapy for about four months and am now in recovery.
My dream still is to be a performer, may it be a recording/touring artist or a performer on Broadway. The stage is where I am most comfortable. ^.^
