Tonight will be the closing performance of the Diamonds & Studs weekly King & Queen show @ Club Vibe...I started going to D&S just this past April and have met some fantastic people and made a host of new friends...I want to take a moment to thank Dana & Josh for "suiting up" every week (which is no simple task) and putting on performances that are truly memorable...I grew up in Phoenix and in my younger days saw many a show at "Casa De Roma"& "Harpos"...performances back then by "Moosela", Penelope Poopae", "Cissy Goldberg" & "Charlene Champagne" ...I remember "Davina" when she first hit the scene doing shows @ "Diamond Lils"...all of the previously mentioned were wonderful illusionists during their hey day, but the bar has been raised extremeley since those days in the late 70's... I can only speak for myself & would like to say thank you Dana & Josh for the wonderful memories and the laughter, I have enjoyed every moment...I hope for the two of you sucess & prosperity... You both will leave a legacy in this town, as will the many other performers that are too numerous to mention...I am sad to see this run end...I love you both and thanks for giving a single, over 40 gay woman much joy these past Thursday evenings...peace...
