Music (Alt, Metal, and Indie Rock), Movies (popcorn flicks, art house, animated, whatever), having fun. Not having fun sucks. Just ask someone who doesn't or is not.
Music
I like a lot of stuff, for one reason or another. Some music is good for driving, some is good to chill to, some is fun to laugh at, to dance to.. you get the idea. Nine Inch Nails, The Dresden Dolls, Prodigy, Rob Zombie, The Beatles, The Ramones, Ministry, Chris McFarland, Afghan Whigs, Skinny Puppy, Ohgr, Marilyn Manson, The Smiths, Morrissey, Sex Pistols, Psychedelic Furs, Metallica, The Cure, The Killers, Slayer, ABBA, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Church, Alice In Chains, Duran Duran, Death Cab For Cutie, Dashboard Confessional, Wolfmother, Led Zeppelin, Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Killswitch Engage, The Decemberists, The Birthday Massacre, Lamb of God...
Television
Twin Peaks, Alias, most anime and comedy on Adult Swim, Deadwood, 6 Feet Under, Saturday Night Live, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Inside The Actor's Studio, X Files, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Sex In The City, My So Called Life... As you can see, it's mostly dated. I don't watch as much tv as I used to.
About me: I'm an adult kid. That being said, I'm an actor, voice actor, director, producer, writer, musician, and improv comedian. As far as stuff you might have seen or heard, maybe a commercial or two, and maybe some anime, if you watch Adult Swim or Cartoon Network("Fullmetal Alchemist", "Case Closed", "Trinity Blood", the new "One Piece", "Shin Chan", others...), an animated movie called "Vexille", and a movie called "Schtickmen" (they should have it at Blockbuster). I love to shop, hang out and watch TV or movies, see live bands that don't suck, dance to music from the dark side, and drive my car all over Texas. I live in a house with my dog, Kilo, who rules. I also perform weekly with my comedy troupe, Section 8 Comedy (we are naughty, Rated R and beyond kinda stuff), and play solo acoustic guitar gigs around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I have a website (in need of serious overhaul) at www.mikemcfarland.com (anyone wanna help with the overhaul?), and my livejournal account is mikemc1.
FOR ANIME FANS:
Hey! I try to answer as much email as I can. Sometimes it just takes a while. Along with my website and this myspace account, I also have a fangroup (*blush) at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MikeMcFarland_Fans/. You should also take a moment to check out www.dubreview.com, and www.animeondvd.com in "The English Track". There you can post about dubs, join in on topics and disucssions, and even nominate and vote on your favorite dubs and voice actors on a monthly and yearly awards basis. I often post about upcoming shows, casts, con info, and things I'm working on there (as well as here, from time to time), so check back!
Who I'd like to meet: People to hang out with, date, people with similar interests, whatever. I'm low maintenance (at least I think I am...).
Hey Mike, Just saying hello. I guess. Glad to hear you're playing Havoc again...though it's sad he's not in the series very much. Hope you have fun working on Brotherhood
