Mike Baas stopped taking his music career seriously a little over a year ago. One thing he did during that time was watch every Lost episode at least twice, researching each one in full detail online. He also took up golf which made him very happy. After breaking 90 for the first time, he broke 80 a week later with a 78. He recently realized that there is an inherent connection between Qi Gong as prescribed by Dr. Huong Ta of San Jose and the Kriya Yoga described in Kundalini Tantra by Swami Satyananda Saraswati of Munger, India. This gave him the confidence to unleash his latent talent for Kundalini awakening. His hope is that yoga will continue to be a catalyst for new inspirations, artistic and otherwise. Oh, and Mike was also lucky enough to find a new chair called a Balans chair that provided him with a whole new philosophy of sitting.

so, last night i got to have the awesome experience of going with shawna and tony (my sister and brother-in-law) to take my niece and nephew to their first concert - stevie wonder at the hollywood bowl. not too shabby!
in honor of this occasion, i'm asking all of my friends to comment me back with what *their* first concert was...and then you can stop by in a couple of days and read everyone's!
incidentally...shawna's was destiny's child, 'n sync and christina aguilera tickets that she won in an acting contest. mine was steppenwolf and the guess who with my dad when i was 11. tony's was stevie ray vaughan for his 9th birthday...his choice. his taste in music is as kickass as his taste in women! :D
