YOU NAME IT!
The music played by Turquoise is Mike's contribution to commercial jazz. What category is it in? It's hard to say...the genre has so many different names. That's why this CD is called You Name It. The important thing is, do you like it? We hope so because Mike wrote all the songs!
Some songs were written for background listening, but require a very hip elevator! Other songs were meant to be listened to a little more closely and feature the talents of such tremendous jazz soloists as Ernie Watts on tenor, alto and soprano saxophones, Dick Spencer on alto saxophone and Gary Barone on trumpet. Mike is holding a trombone in the background.

Hi Mike, I liked how you arranged Chicks "Friends". It sounds great in a big band setting. Hope you think about doing a few more of Chicks compositions in the future. Like Spain! Have a great weekend Mike - Lou
A big thanks to all my friends... I just went over 10,000 listens on my player. I've added a fifth tune to my player, an arrangement of Scott Henderson's "Harpoon", the leader and guitar player of Tribal Tech.
