Ever since high school Mike Blair has held tight to the strings and wood of an acoustic guitar. He may lay it down from time to time for the delicate melody of the mandolin or the whine of a harmonica, but the blues-covered heart of Mike's music seems wrapped around the soulful strum of the acoustic.
Mike Blair has played in venues across the state of North Carolina and up the east coast. He was recently a guest musician on WHQR radio show Soup to Nuts Live here in Wilmington, and is currently working on his third album.

"Melodious as he is funky, Blair’s sound and delivery is all encompassing, working melody and warmth into songs that are as relatable as they are inspiring." -Bootleg Magazine, July 2008
That is so funny you commented on my profile cause I was just listening to your cd yesterday. :) Unfortunately, I am not playing any gigs. I don't know where to even start. The guy that was helping me record doesn't wanna help me out anymore. :( I don't what more to do than just keep writing and perfecting my playing. How are things with you?
