Pedro the Lion, NOFX, Lagwagon, Alkaline Trio, The Gaslight Anthem, Nat King Cole, David Berkeley, Regina Spektor... just to name a few of my favorites. Some of these artists/bands have had more of an impact on my music than others but they're all unique, different, and amazingly talented at what they do and I respect them alot.
I’ve been playing guitar for about four years, but I’ve been writing songs since I was fifteen. Barrett, Squidge (THE WILD) and I started a band in high school and I played drums for nearly four years with them until I left for university. About halfway through my freshman year, I bought my first guitar and have yet to put it down. As far as my style of writing goes, every song has a story to me and I find inspiration everywhere. I was lucky enough to play a few dates on the Freeze Your Ass Off Tour ’07 with Seth Anderson and THE WILD back in April/May. Soon after that tour, the boys invited me into the Out-Back Records family and I've been playing shows with them ever since. In all sincerity, one couldn’t ask to play with a better group of guys. We all love what we do and we have a great time doing it. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming tour dates - we may be heading to a town near you. 2 of my friends and I had a Road Trip 2 weeks ago in New Brunswick. Never been there before. We went till Shediac to see the Ocean passing by Grand Falls and Moncton. New Brunswick is really beautiful. 2 Days, a real road trip but not enough time to see the whole thing. Well, my friend, your music is great Keep going!
We wanted to stop in and say hi. We have a few updates for you. We have been working on our new album. Our first single off of it is on our myspace page.
