The Mike Cape Band is now called "OneWay to Heaven". (I was uncomfortable having a band named after myself. Band members are Kevin Benoit, Donna Benoit, Kevin Bergeron, and Larry Franks and Lawrence Ledet My thanks to all of them for their hard work and dedication. Also, I have a CD out entitled Are You Listening? It consists of original songs and original arrangements of a few older songs all of which were recorded here in Houma at Digital Sac-a-lait Productions. All of the music is spiritual in nature with a message of hope. It was produced by Pershing Wells, a talented local musician/writer/producer, etc., who practices his craft here in Houma. He also does the slide work on the cuts as well as sequencing and really did some good stuff.
It is available for purchase at www.mikecape.com and at these local places of business here in Houma:

I haven’t lived hear all my life though. I was born and raised in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. [Hello Manitowoc!! (and Royal Knights) If you're reading this drop me a line!!] I've shoveled snow, ice fished a few times, and watched the Green Bay Packers win the first ever AFL-NFL Championship game now called the Super Bowl long before Packer fans were known as cheese heads.
I’ve always loved music and it has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. From garage bands at high school dances to traveling through the Midwest playing lounges and nightspots. Finally settling in Texas starting a family, while working in the oil patch and listening to all that Texas swing. Now living in Louisiana, I’ve never been anywhere that I wasn’t involved in some kind of music and now I find that my calling is performing Christian music in churches and coffeehouses. What started out as recording a few songs I had written over the years, hoping to share them with my kids, turned into a much bigger project which culminated the CD "Are You Listening?". I hope and pray that there is something for you here in the music.

I know I've said this over the years like a broken record... (pardon the pun...) but "The Way" is one of my favorite songs of ALL TIME! I'm NOT kidding!
Hi Mike... thanks for the message. All is well here. My younger daughter's husband finally got back a few weeks ago. Won't get to see him until May though, when I go up there for her graduation.
