| | Heroes | Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn beyond the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.
Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see there is so much more
and beckons me to look through to these infinite possibilities.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.
Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line.
Reaching out to embrace the random.
Reaching out to embrace whatever may come.
I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected
enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired, to fathom the power,
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human.
With my feet upon the ground I lose myself
between the sounds and open wide to suck it in,
I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out,
I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me.
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.
Spiral out. Keep going, going...

About me:

Just to put myth to rest, I do not use a computer to design my art unless specified. That includes my tattoos, drawings, and paintings. I repeat, I do not use a computer to compose my art. There are rare occasions where I tweak elements of my work with photo shop or just completely do "digital art" all together. However, I never design my paintings or tattoos that I have done completely solo on the computer. All of my paintings and tattoos are all done by hand. I generate the light source from my own mind from the years of cataloguing refraction from close observation. I do not mask edges nor photo shop them. I do occasionally use a compass, ruler, protractor and occasionally a piece of graph paper (isometric or standard) to compose some of my artwork. I am by no means discouraging the use of a computer with art. It can be a wonderful tool. I just prefer good old hand drawn compositions and hand done finished products. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Haha. Don't get me wrong, I have and do use the computer for referencing. I just feel that too much use takes away from being a raw visionary artist and closer to being generic. I feel like the mind doesn't get enough exercise. It is a muscle...the most important one. Kind of ironic too.....being my stuff does look like I am trying to mimic how a computer would make art look. BUT.....it's all me, straight human. I guarantee it. I just love the smell and feel of a new sketchbook that begs to be christened (and no I'm not christian) and art stores! I'm like a chick at the mall if I go into an art store. It’s my favorite place to shop.
