Since forming in 2003, The Mike Elrington Band have shown promise as one of the most exciting, young Blues/Rock power trio's in Australia today.
Combining the raw elements of electric blues and the explosive elements of gutsy 3-piece rock, The Mike Elrington Band presents a fresh and inventive style of Blues/Rock.
Over the last three years since releasing the critically acclaimed "Too Good To Be True" album, the band has toured extensively throughout Australia.
Fiercely independent, the band pride themselves on taking a grassroots approach to their career by touring relentlessly to build a fan base and being self-managed along the way.
In June-July 2006, the band completed their first tour of the United States & Canada. From San Francisco to New York and across the Canadian Prairie Provinces, many friends and fans were made during their 25 show international debut.
Currently the band are working on their second album "Six Feet Under A Dream" with legendary producer Peter "Reggie" Bowman.
They continue to tour throughout Australia and will head back to the USA/Canada in 2008.
