SCUBA DIVING!!! I just got certified last spring and I love it!! If I can't be on top of the water catching fish or crab, I might as well be under it looking at 'em!! I'm flying to Bonaire in South America for the first 10 days of December to go diving!! I can't wait!

I'm somewhat a fan of that TV show Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel!! History and Discovery Channel can consume alot of my TV time!!
Books
I love to read when I'm on the boat and I'm driving it through the night. I love reading about history and WWII. Those are my favorite kinds of books!
About me: The name is Mike, obviously. I just got married on August 12 of '06. I married the sister of one of my college basketball teamates! I've lived my whole life up in Alaska and I love it up there. I grew up in the town of Homer, but since I got married, I moved to Washington state where my wife is from. Laci is a nurse and she loves it. I have spent the last 10 years on the Time Bandit, a crab boat out of Homer. For whatever reason, I love being out in the Bering Sea catching crab! There is nothing like pulling up a King Crab pot with 100 crab in there! The whole thing is an adrenaline rush that I'll never outgrow! I took last winter off from crab fishing because I just got married. I plan on going crabbing again this fall ('07) for King Crab, then again in January for Snow Crab. Call me crazy, but I love that stuff!
Out of 4 seasons and the many boats that have came and gone on Deadliest Catch, the Time Bandit is BY FAR my FAVORITE! Good luck and happy hunting for you next season!

tomorrow at 10 we're gonna be at the museum of tolerance in LA. (holocaust museum).. then heading to Hollywood so mom can stalk down Tom Hanks!! haha... you have absolutely no idea how badly i wish you could be here, but i abolutely love you regardless....
