Well . . . I . . . um . . . I'm between labels . .
I'm a guitarist/composer/teacher/dabbler in banjo & mandolin originally from Spokane, Washington. I'm currently smack in the middle of rasslin' me up a master's degree in jazz and contemporary media at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. My earliest musical tastes were for The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and the Ducktales theme; after a prolonged Guns 'n' Roses phase, I eventually discovered jazz- and the rest, as they say, is "not worth mentioning." I have a good time playing just about any style: jazz, hard rock, classical, country, free, and all points between.
Have a great Friday and enjoy the weekend. Be sure to stream the live Songhurst Guitars interview 3/13/09 at 8:20pm. 99.9 FM Spokane & spokanesriver. com
Back. Alive (barely). No lice. Miss you fiendishly. Just scored a sweet slower-downer-program, so have been figuring out which tunes to transcribe. May do some Pat Martino. Heard your new guitar today when I talked to Danny. Sounds incredible. Going to have him build me a double neck. And yes, I will be right here at X-mas time. See you then.
When you're finished with your "Master" you should come hang with this guy. Two thumbs headed this way. One for hitchin' and the other for...uh...Alright, MAMF, holla atcha your boy.
