Mike Freiley And Friends. Varies depending on the venue.
Influences
Somebody is gonna get left out of this list. Let's just say all the greats -- Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Bernie Taupin (as a lyricist) and Stephen Stills. Can't begin to mention all the Great Blues Cats, and I hate to leave out any Great Rockers, but there are just too many to list. Oh yeah, The Country folks. Waylon, Willie, Kris, and some of the newer guys, like Ryan Adams are on the list, too! I don't think that I have a favorite artist or genre, The tunes just come and then they are what they are.
Sounds Like
Pall Malls, whiskey, and velvet. My manager wrote that. Probably pretty accurate. No, I think if you had to describe it, It would have to be something like Folky Blues with a Country feel. Oh yeah. I know. But Rock is Rock and Rock is Rock. I love Rock! My rock songs just come from the gut. To me, Rock is all the other stuff on steroids.
Resides somewhere north of Dallas. Keeping the private life private. Except to say that "Lovin' Life Looms Large." Several band mates, depending on the venue.
Blues, Folk, Rock and Country influences.
Original tunes indicative of life in the BIG CITY.
I am so proud of you. New in the 70's you would be on stage. You had the appel back then. Now you are really there. Your toes are not the only thing wet you are knee deep in it and I am so PROUD of you. Can not say I will be at the show. Man I am with you in spirit. Always will be. I know you will go far. Mom and Dad must be the proudest people in the world. Love your friend/sister Laura Lee

Hey, man! Just wanted to say thanks for letting us be a part of "Songs For Joanie" last night. You have an amazing, warm, wonderful, and talented family, and it was an honor to get to play for them.
