Mike Giannopolo is a jazz and classical saxophonist teaching and playing on Boston's North Shore. He has studied with Charlie Tokarz, Ted Levine, and Lynn Klock. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts from Westfield State College and a Master of Music Education from Boston University.
The Mike Giannopolo Quartet features Mike on alto sax accompanied by piano or guitar, bass, and drums. The group performs standards from the bebop and hard bop eras with a uniquely modern edge.
