Michael is a Pop Singer born into a Latin American family and raised in NYC. His goal: to surface as a Prolific Mainstream Recording Artist. At age 13 his love for music began, and a strong need to express himself lead him to writing music by age 17. Eventually he began recording demos and test-performing them in venues such as NYC's CBGB's and Club Speed with success. In 2009 he independently released the "Go Getter" EP which serves up a eclectic approach to Pop Music, tapping into it's various sub-genres, and with teen idol appeal taking away no depth from this profound artist. The "Go Getter" project was written entirely by Michael and almost entirely produced by him as well. Some production input includes Will Taylor and Dwain McClellan. His "Go Getter" EP has sold extremely well on iTunes and other major digital stores, and as a result received it's first ever physical CD release as a Special Edition and a 13 track remix compilation. Much of the EP's success was due to positive radio reviews of the title track and Dance single "Go Getter", as well as club play of both singles "Go Getter" and "Forbidden". "Forbidden", however, was the first to receive music video treatment (as did a few of it's remixes), and went back and forth rivaling "Go Getter" as the biggest seller off the EP with "Go Getter" finally remaining on top. It was after this that Michael went on hiatus spending his time mostly practicing yoga and eventually becoming a yoga instructor. But fans wont have to wait too long for new music. Just recently Michael has begun working on a new EP tentatively titled "BoomBox" which similarly to the first will tap into various sub-genres of Pop. While the first mostly catered to the European Dance scene the new EP, however, will have more American radio influence. "Go Getter" gained Michael the attention of a few European labels just before deciding to go on hiatus, and with "BoomBox" now in the works he intends it to be his first release backed by a label.
