Mike Grutka leads the Mike Grutka Project. Original name huh?
Mike released his first single to commercial radio last winter and charted 12 Indie Up and Coming FMQB, and 29 Indie Top 30 FMQB.
The song cut across genres gaining airplay at AC/Hot AC/Modern AC/AAA and Country stations. 40 stations added the song.
Mike's last CD 'Myself Again' was added to 141 AAA/college stations nationwide and in Canada. Pretty cool
The songs are bouncy and intense. Well, there's some of both. They are full of hope. The sound has been compared to: R.E.M. meets Neil Young and has a baby with DMB and Radiohead. Or maybe Phish. Or Paul Simon. You decide.

I keep forgetting to tell you: I hear "She Wants" on 97.7 every once in a while. That's pretty sweet. I'll be tuning in to hear the radio show interview thingy, as well.
day 1 of ryan was really awesome, day 2 of ryan he had a hissy fit and walked off stage because his equipment wasn't working right. but i still love him. :-)
