About Mike Hague

Hi everybody, i've been drummin' my way around the world for over 30 years. I currently reside in Sydney Australia and am at present freelancing with various acts. I love playing different styles of music (as long as it's good!) ranging from jazz, RnB, soft rock, funk, rock, nostalgic etc... etc.... Some of the acts i've occupied the drumming chair for are, Chuck Berry U.K/European tour 1980. T.C.B Band (Elvis Presley's band) Australia 2004. The Jordenaires (Elvis Presley's backing vocalists) in Las Vegas 2001. Greg Page (The Wiggles) Australia 2005. Glen Shorrock (Little river band) Australia 2005. The Beatnix Beatles tribute 1987 -1988. The Bachelors (UK) 2007 Australian tour. Louie Shelton (usa guitar legend) 2008 Tamworth. Mc Cauleys Raiders and backing country music artists, Bill Chambers, Catherine Britt,The McClymonts, Jean Stafford, Travis Collins, Smokey Dawson etc etc SUPPORTS INCLUDE The Rolling Stones in Hong Kong 2002. After a long journey from our home planet in the distant Omega Centauri Galaxy, The Del Sonics have arrived on Planet Earth to embark on their "World Domination Imminent" tour! Commencing in Brisbane, Australia, the run of dates will continue until total global power is achieved. The latest and most potent weapon in our arsenal is our new album release “Destination...Planet Rock!”. Eight rolled-gold total psych-out cuts, recorded in May 2009, showcase the cream of this intergalactic instro/prog/surf outfit. Don’t be fooled by the wiggy song names – “(No One Likes A) Smart Arsed Robot”, “Funky Chikisho”, and the epic acid-trip of “Speak Cyborg…Or DIE!” – these are killer rock and roll tracks delivered by a band that’s been a sensation on the live circuit the past year. The engine-room rhythm section of The Big Kahuna (bass) and Krank Daddy (drums) powers like the Starship Enterprise on steroids. Out the front directing traffic on Fender Mustang (and with NASA-grade guitar pedal technology at his feet) is Twang, the one-man tsunami!
