About me: I am the co-founder and President of the Mike Jenkins Evangelistic Association. I have ministered all over the United States as well as Africa, Iceland, and Jamaica.
I came from a broken home where my dad was an alcoholic and very abusive. I have a great mother who raised me in church but I didn't want anything to do with God. I started using drugs at the age of 17 and was an addict for the next 11 years. I dealt drugs for 8 years. I became a convicted felon in 1983 for embezellment and possession of stolen material from the U.S. Postal system where I worked. I was facing years in prison, but God had a plan for my life. By the grace of God I didn't have to spend any time in prison, but I continued to do and deal drugs. I got hurt in a bad mining accident where I almost lost his left foot and leg. After spending 20 months in the hospital and having 27 surgeries, I decided I was going to commit suicide because I was told by the Doctor that there was no hope for my leg to be healed. When I was getting ready to take my life a family walked in my room and shared the Gospel with me. I got saved that day and God instantly set me free of drugs. God also healed my foot and leg and I walked out of the hospital. My wife and I have been in the ministry for 18 years and have 3 boys and 1 grandchild. I hold revivals and crusades all over the nation. I am blessed to be considered one of the top motivational high school speakers in the country. My mentors were Dave Roever and Reggie Dabbs. I had the honor of being an associate evangelist with the Dave Roever Evangelistic Association for 4 years. I also speak in the toughest prisons in the U.S. and Africa. I am sold out to God and to the work of God. I make the statement everwhere I go, "We can't change our past, but we can change our future." I give God the glory for what He has done in my life and for the beautiful wife and children that I have. I praise God for the ministry that He has given me and my family and that He allows us the honor of lifting up His name everywhere that we go. GOD IS SO GOOD! Who I'd like to meet: Jesus Christ first and foremost. People from all walks of life and from different places in the world. People who would become friends and share the same vision that we share in reaching those who are lost, hurting, and dying. I would also like to meet people who are struggling with an addiction in their life and share with them the hope that I found in Jesus Christ.

No matter what is going on in the world...God is still the answer. God is on your side, that makes you and God the majority in all attacks against you, your family, your finances, or your health!

It is our example of real Godly love that is our strongest witness. God is love. God's love is what draws people out of darkness to the light.

Just as it was for Paul and Silas, it is still the same for us this day. It is when we praise God & pray, that we are freed and others who are around us are freed as well.
"Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed."
John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."
This year be released from what holds you back. Go into the new year a conqueror with prayers answered and freedom in Christ.
MERRY CHRISTMAS - Jesus Christ is the Reason for the Season!
"Matthew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." "1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" "1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ," "Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
We have much to rejoice about during the Christmas time. The angel told Joseph that Jesus would save us from our sins. Paul taught Timothy that Jesus is the only mediator between God and us. Paul declared that God has appointed us to receive salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. And especially this time of year we should not let the world hinder us from proclaiming the Gospel of Christ to all. We can not let the influence of the world make us ashamed of speaking the Gospel of Christ. Jesus & salvation is the reason for true rejoicing this Christmas season.
