"The saddest thing I ever did see
Was a woodpecker peckin' at a plastic tree.
He looks at me, and 'Friend,' says he,
'Things ain't as sweet as they used to be.'"
-Shel Silverstein
"I know no disease of the soul but ignorance; a pernicious evil, the darkener of mans life, the disturber of his reason, and common confounder of Truth" -Ben Johnson
In a nutshell:
- My main goal in life is to discover truth, whatever that may be.
- I spend more of my time than anything else satisfying my desire seeking truth, wisdom and how and why things work the way they do.
I am not a republican nor am I a democrat. They are both two arms of the same tree. I am independent. I am not for "liberal" or "conservative", "right or left" politics. I am for protecting the freedoms of all and following the Constitution and Bill of Rights as our forefathers setup for our once-great nation.
I post blogs and sometimes bulletins about information that I believe important for others to know about. You don't have to read them, many don't, but I keep in mind this quote:
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.

About me: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. - Mahatma Gandhi
I am looking to make some new friends in San Diego and if a spark comes about, even better, but no rush. I'm very open-minded and love to try new things. I enjoy people that are curious in nature and truly down to earth people. I really enjoy relaxing and enjoying the simple things in life. I take on new projects everyday, like learning how to make authentic mexican food, italian, chinese, indian etc.
I always have some kind of project going on. I think of at least a hundred new business ideas a year and make notes on them with research but I always take caution before dumping money or too much time into them if I don't know they will make money 100% and be successful, they are just ideas that come naturally and often. I have entrepreneur blood but still work for the man.
I did acting for over 10 years (theatre plays & musicals, some short film clips also) but found less and less time for it after working full time. I plan on getting back into it soon, it's something I really love.
I periodically do portrait sculpture using clay when I have time. I'm a hard worker and I take my job and responsibilities seriously, at the same time I know how to have fun and laugh. I'm usually very goofy and love doing silly voices.
I try to eat and live healthy and I'd like to find someone that understands that importance and shares that same goal. I exercise several times a week. I set goals every year and knock them down by breaking them up into smaller goals, all leading to the final stretch. The possibilities are endless, but the journey getting there is usually more interesting than the end result. I don't typically take shortcuts, as I enjoy working hard and earning my way in life. I don't rely on anyone to hand me anything, I believe in earning it. I respect everyone right from the get go, unless you give me a very good reason not too, which is usually very rare. I believe in forgiveness as people make mistakes, but not to the point of being naive.
I like photography and sculpture, I can't paint worth anything but I like to look at it. I have a very diverse and eclectic taste in hobbies and interests. I am curious about how things work and why they work. There is so much to do in life. I am never bored, ever.
I enjoy people that are open-minded and are good communicators.
I am a very positive, supportive and encouraging person and I want to see my friends and loved ones succeed in life, in what ever they choose. I like people that are aligned with these ideals too.
A little short I was in.

I'm constantly reading and learning new things. I enjoy critical thinking and love to participate in discussions on everything ranging from politics to science, health, travel, cooking and even gardening! I consider myself a jack of all trades and would enjoy talking to new people about just about anything.
I'm into cars, photography, hiking, being healthy, reading, movies, cats, museums, technology, art, acting, computer junk, politics, gym, comedy clubs, environmental causes and uhmm...everything else. I tend to have an eclectic taste in hobbies and interests. I like knowing how things work. Learning is fun, I'm a documentary-aholic.

"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." -Goethe
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks...will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs". -Thomas Jefferson
"The modern Banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented. Banks can in fact inflate, mint and unmint the modern ledger-entry currency". -Major L. B. Angus
"It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for
if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." -Henry Ford
Who I'd like to meet: I like people with healthy amounts of curiosity and truly down to earth people.
Minor annoyances: dramatic people and gossip, people who never learn from their mistakes, when people don't believe in themselves or use the words "I can't" too often, people who never look at things from other people's point of view, unhealthy amounts of selfishness, unhealthy amounts of selflessness, people who don't ask questions or don't question anything. People who are too afraid to stand up for what is right.
I miss you!! I'm leaving Utah tomorrow. Don't know how I ever lived here!! Hope you aren't getting too bored in orientation round 3! I applied for 2 jobs today. Well I hope you are having a good day babe...talk to you soon. xoxo
Is progressivespace.com coming back online ever? I miss the old discussions.
Environmentalist/libertarian John Inks lost for Mountain View city council by 238 votes! I helped him out big time. So close to some sanity on the board. Next time I need a few more volunteers and we should get him over the top, I may run myself in 2008.
