I play in shore leave and the m.g. lederman band. This is something a little different. i briefly had a band called Sal Ammoniac that performed some of these songs, and may resurface in some form or another. For lots more music go to (super out-of-date) www.mikejoyrecordings.com. Also check out the Fillebrown-Joy Band, which features, or, is Dave Fillebrown and myself. End.
Mike, hey thanks for the info on the Yamaha 4 track. I found that turning off the DBX is the best sound by far. It's all in the placement of the mics. takes away that filter sound. Mean I have Cubase but I just like the old 4 track. Still working on time code. Will keep you posted. As always your music is very good! lee
hey man, i have two new songs. you should give them a listen if you get the chance. i am finally putting out a solid release. we should really set something up soon. in boston or on cape.
you call yourself a musician? put up some new music already.. i'm getting bored ;) hope life is going well - did you start some sort of edu-ma-cation program lately? how's that working out for you? mike = joy
hey man! things have changed for this stuff again. i'm playing alone with an acoustic guitar and other stuff. I want to set up a show with you and/or shore leave soon! give the tracks i put up a listen and let me know what you think.
Just because you're so cool, I was hoping you wouldn't mind me borrowing some comment space to throw this out!
I'm in a Marching Band these days, the Italian American Band out of Lawrence, MA - fun group of folks and decent gigs for good pay! I just wanted to say anyone who might be interested in some summer gigs, let me know and I'll put you in touch with the director!
That's a pretty weird dream... What does it mean??? I mean if you are for seeing the future I think it's not a bad future...... for me at least... Keep the dream alive!
