About me: I'm a freelance writer living and hanging out in the boondocks of Canada (otherwise known as the prairies). Mostly I do interviews and reviews and the like but lately I've been trying my hand at fiction and slaving over a little romantic dramedy I call Smitten.
I'm a huge cinema and music buff. I think if either of those things were to disappear from my life I'd suffocate. I also love to read and have taken a particular shine to the likes of Nick Hornby, Andi Watson, Ted Naifeh, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Rob Thomas. I'm knee deep in a number of Thomas' books as I type this, in fact.
Other than that, I'm married with three kids and a balinese cat named Buckaroo Banzai, so if that doesn't tell you everything you need to know about me, I don't know what else will.
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet fellow pop-culture junkies like myself. Artists, writers, musicians, lovers of great films, greater music and people with a fine appreciation for a good book (that includes good comic books). Just check out the sidebar for a list of the usual suspects on my entertainment shelf.
I'm also totally addicted to DVDs, so if there are any other Digital Versatile Disc buffs out there, hats off to you!
