Mike Mancy is an independent, self managed artist from Houston, Texas. He got his start playing and writing in both Los Angeles, CA and Nashville, TN for several years and is now living back in Ft. Worth, TX. The album Uneven Ground, was released in September of 2004 and had seven songs on the radio from the Uneven Ground Album. Three of the seven were spun on over 150 stations and 30 states across the US. Two other songs on the album are on internet radio and were in the top 50 of most requests in 2005. The single Let it Roll is featured in an independent film called The Ranch directed and written by Grady Moore and was released in the summer of 2005. Also in the Fall of 2006, The Mike Mancy Band performed on CMT (Country Music Television) with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders for the "Making the Squad". In 2006 Mancy also sang the National Anthem at American Airlines Center for the Dallas Stars Hockey game to a sold-out crowd. Mancy has completed the new album "Blue Sky" and the release date is January 1st, 2010. Roger Ray from Jason Boland and the Stragglers and Mancy co-produced this project. The single "Blue Sky" made it to 23 on the Texas Music Chart in November '09 and will begin promoting a new single in 2010 with the release of the album.
