Hi and welcome to my Myspace profile page. I was born and raised on the East Coast in Connecticut. I settled in San Diego in 1998. I began writing music in the mid 90's, but didn't start performing until August, 2005. My style has been compared to Jack Johnson, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Jim Croce, and a few other '70s pop-folk artists. That's cool!
My early influences were Elvis and The Beatles, but when the '70s disco and '80s "Big Hair" bands became popular, I would find myself listening to the softer sounds of Paul Simon, James Taylor, Billy Joel, Jim Croce, The Eagles, etc.
A childhood dream of becoming a "rock star" became just that, a dream, as I found myself living the family life at an early age. However, I never stopped loving music and began to teach myself how to play the guitar in the '80s. Although I just played for fun, I started writing my own music during the '90s when I began to travel the country as a computer systems consultant.
Now that I'm settled in Southern California with a beautiful wife and 4 children, my one time "dream" is in a small way being fulfilled, as I find comfort in performing my own music along with the music of many of the artists that I idolize and that I'm often compared to.
My first cd "KEEP ON" was self released in November, 2006. As I continue to perform locally and throughout California, I also continue to write. I've written and recorded 12 new songs and just released my second cd "ENJOY THE JOURNEY". I hope you enjoy, and I also hope to continue to write and share more of my journey with you in the future.
I would like to finish by saying THANK YOU to all of you who add me and listen to my music. I really do try and get back to each and everyone of you, but don't always have the time. So please don't take it personally. Just know that I really do appreciate the friendship and all the kind words. Cheers!
Hi Mike! You are very welcome! I live just north of San Diego and am looking forward to seeing you perform "live and in person" at one of your upcoming performances! I'm sure there will be a huge difference between listening to you live rather than on a computer! I have been telling my friends about you and your music! Take care, Jane

Sometimes when i look around, all i see is misery, despair, frustration and pain...
Then, i close my eyes, take a couple deep breaths, RELAX...And ask myself, "WHAT IF all I saw was what I WANTED TO SEE?" Then, I open my eyes. I see the sun, I see the blue sky, I see my girls smiling back at me, I see life...
And then, lo and behold, I see nothing but OPPORTUNITY...

Hi Mike...I wanted to share some positivity with you and your fans, they are such an upbeat, happy crowd.....LOL!!
It's an amazingly gorgeous day here in Vancouver...sunny, warm (well by our October standards 70+ degrees is damn hot!)
I went for a long long walk..........It felt great & I greeted everyone I saw with warmth and an open mind...young, old, teens, male, female.....guys in suits...guys pushing shopping carts (& they werent shopping...LOL) absolutely everyyyyyyone! By the time I got home this was my 'ahah!' for the day....
What do we have in endless supply...& when u give one away...u almost always get it back? A SMILE!! Toss out a few & watch the magic!!
A favorite musician is playing in a club here tomorrow. The friend who was to go with me can't make it & I don't know if I will find someone else so last minute. I contemplated not going at all.....which mad me sad :(
Small problem in the big scheme of life I know...but it is something I have looked forward to...there's another lesson...not to diminish the significance of 'small pleasures' just because they are small.
I was listening to your second album and 'Friday' delivered a clear message...not to let go of those things that 'fire us up', not to let expectations and fear stop us from pursuing our passions.
sooooooo.......I'm going!! Even if it's by myself!! Afterall...Why the hell not? I'm a big girl...right?
Thankyou for making me stop and think...(which at times is a huge task! LOL)
