If I had to describe our sound then I would say that my music has the laid-back sound of Jack Johnson with undertone influences of Dave Matthews. Take a listen for yourself.....
Mike Miller got his sound while living in LA, at Occidental College. While already being influenced by bands such as Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam and Sacramento locals Cake. He was there exposed to G Love and the Special Sauce as well as many others. When in LA, Mike found himself playing more sublime covers and took to that groove which helped Mike develop the sound you hear today. Mike Miller started to make a name for him self in Portland, OR playing larger venues like Ash Street Saloon, Loveland (the old meow meow), and Berbati's Pan to name a few and has played in such major cities as New York City NY, Knoxville TN, Portland OR, Los Angeles CA, the Bay Area CA, and the Sacramento Valley. Mike Miller has been accompanied by the following artists:Brandon Shewbert, Dennis Smith, Ted Koch, Mike Archoletta, Matt Salmons, Peter Burg, Brian Pruret, Braeden Manning, Daniel Baker, Dave Koch, Michael Sanderson as well as others.
