Mike O'Bryan is a singer/songwriter/acoustic guitar player based in Southern California. Mike has been playing solo for over 15 years in taverns, clubs, private parties, weddings etc. He has released 5 CD's of original music and continues to write and record more and more each day.
There is no real way to define Mike's music. He sounds like himself, and draws inspiration from everything around him! His songs are a direct reflection of something he saw, felt, heard, or experienced. So in other words, songs about him, and songs about you. His lyrics are nothing short of inspired, and his melodies are infectious!
Besides writing and recording his own original music, Mike is also a very talented acoustic guitarist, who can play (almost) anything he hears. He never has a set playlist that he goes through each night that he's on stage. He can play (literally) thousands of songs, and is constantly learning new ones. HEY MIKE!! I have yet to pass along the CDs to Stephen and Kari, but I am taking in the 'almost-finished' CD 'Sound on Sound' and it is very very good...the album is really speaking to me in my current state which is kinda shaky, confused, and hopeful all at once!
