I'm Mike and songwriting is just what I do. Whether I'm sitting on a bus in San Francisco, on a couch at a party, or in the car with my friends, I'm always writing lyrics and observing. A lot has happened in my life since the release of my first album "The New Ocean's Edge." With my new album, "All Smiles In The Rear View Mirror," I hope to convey the feelings of nostalgia that have been on my mind lately. With the end of high school nearing I have been realizing that despite the ups and downs, these really are the best times, and that isn't just some cliche saying that washed-up parents tell us all.
I hope listening to this new album will give everyone the motivation to get up off the couch and go on an adventure to chase down as many smiles as possible and commit them all to memory, and to always view the world through youthful eyes
