About me:
I ran in the 2008 Republican Primary for U.S. Senare in IL. I lost my race to a very liberal doctor, who was supported by the GOP leadership. I gave it my all, and didn't fare too badly in my first run for political office: 11% of the vote! I want to thank all of you who voted for me, helped my campaign, and had faith.

Liberals instinctively know that they MUST donate to their candidates. Conservatives seem to think that it's an option. The funny thing is, liberals get their money from the rest of us, through taxes (slush funds), and government employee unions. If we're ever going to win the war, we're going to have to quit starving out our own candidates. Remember the words of Sec. Donald Rumsfeld: "When you go to war, you go to war with the army you have; not the army you wish you had." Pick your favorite candidates, and support them!!
Albert Einstien defined insanity as continuing to do the same things and expecting different results. We need to elect a different kind of candidate to political office to ensure different results out of government.
We must all ask ourselves "What can I do to make George Washington proud of me?"
