Sounds a bit like a rambunctious vocal felch amalgamation of the hybrid bastard offspring of stuff which has guitars in and people singing a bit.
Formed in 2006 by brothers Mike and Rob Rees we quickly grabbed drummer Sam Shields and enlisted the enigmatic, beautiful and hugely talented Dave Green (Click that link) to complete the line-up. 'Handsome Mike' are surprising in fewer ways than you'd imagine we'd think you'd say we are.
In the last year we have headlined various venues such as Night & Day in Manchester and The Magnet in Liverpool, Played at the 'In the City' festival, supported acts like Ali Love, Vinny Peculiar and Fruitbat of Carter USM, been championed by Terry Christian and his amazing team at BBC Manchester, Clint Boon on XFM, Conrad Murray at Revolution and a plethora of local stations the length and breadth of the country, we've made friends with lots of lovely bands and met loads of people who are far cooler than us yet still listen to our music.
We're another one of those 'bands' that you hear so much about. There are many such 'bands' knocking around and lots of them are very good. We hope you're one of the people who thinks ours is the best. If not, we dont mind, it would be dull if the minor successes weren't offset by major failures and disapointments.

Heya Mike Just wanted to let you know that the renamed 'Golden Secret' went amazingly well. We managed to rehearse well until we reached the point where we could safely addlib in little remarks and such and it worked a treat. The audience laughed at pretty much everything...yes, even the doctor joke. ;) We'll be doing it again because Emma has injured herself badly so when she's better we'll be doing it again so, providing ure not busy freelancing we'd rly like u 2 see our 'masterpiece' hehe.
