Experiencing the different types and meanings of „breakbeat“ Mike Rigler found his way through the jungle of dance-music by pushing sounds to the limit.
His first release, the „Lovesick&Dirt EP“ was published in 2008 on Parov Stelar..s „Etage Noir Special“ and soon gained respect and airplay and entered charts and compilations.
His ruff and pushing sound was later developed and after experiencing with live-instruments and singers Mike..s sound now is a organic collage with soul and funk attitude. His DJ-Sets, partly as Tour-DJ for Parov Stelar, and his soon to come live-acts are a precise but open extension to his studio work. Mike Rigler dropping a tune on the dancefloor guarantees enthusiastic dancers and happy faces.
Mike Rigler was born in 1981 and lives and works in Linz, Austria.
