Something old, something new, something borrowed and usually blue
Ive been in various bands over the years- all good in their own way. Now I've gone solo and I'm loving it! There are a couple of live and very rough demos here. I also play guitar for The Neon Trees which is grand.
I get asked about my guitars quite a bit. Acoustic wise I use a Gibson J45 exclusively- its a wonderful guitar- bought it new last year- no problems yet!
I also use a 1988 USA Strat with lace pickups on it- Shes a bit battered now but still plays like a star. And I plug this straight into a 40w Fender valver which is a great sounding amp but if you are thinking of getting one I'd consider an extension cab as well. Ive recently bought another guitar off a luthier called Stephen Hart who is based in Oldham, lancs. Its a weird looking thing, like a les paul thats been put through a mangle. It plays like a dream though!
