Thanks so much for your great contribution to Matt's Celebration Concert yesterday. Amongst some fantastic performances throughout the afternoon and evening, yours was one of my personal favourites. It just shows you what regard and admiration everyone has for Matt, both personally and musically.
We all had a great time at Mike's birthday bash at Shining Friends Folk Club, Lickey End on Saturday. Jane and Paul did a sterling job on the organising side. The entertainment was awesome. Mike, Johnny Coppin, Jo Partridge, Patsy Matheson and Paul Edwards. Fish and chip supper was fabulous. Thanks you to everyone concerned for a lovely evening, it was a real honour to be there. Lovely to meet old friends and make new ones too x
Hey Mike, sorry to not be in touch sooner, but I belatedly wanted to say that you and Johnny were awesome at the Star FC- you're really onto a good thing with your combined talents. And the Festival Blues song is FAR OUT. CU next time.
Mike Silver has been played on the It's A Frog's Life Acoustic Podcast Show 80 - Podcasting by numbers - the Easter 2009 music special, with more music and less talk than normal. And all of the songs on this show are connected in some way with numbers or counting. ..
This podcast is dedicated to the memory of the 96 fans of Liverpool Football Club who lost their lives so tragically and needlessly in the Hillsborough disaster on 15th April 1989, to the families they left behind, and to those who continue to fight for justice. You'll never walk alone.

Went to Mikes Snow Gig (!!!!) at Otterton Mill on Thursday, and heard a fantastic new song with a chorus of "let me take you Down South", been in my head ever since I heard it. Will be up there with Not a Matter of price. Lovely evening, the journey wasnt so hot on the way home.... See you soon.
Even before I read your blog I was so sure that it MUST be Manfred Leuchter, who played this marvellous accordion to your songs! May I say that the words you have found about him express exactly you yourself! You are a very unique songwriter and singer as well! We feel so blessed by getting introduced to your rare gift!
Thanks so much for all your wonderful music once again!
Have a blessed and peaceful Christmastime with all your dears Much love from Germany
Thanks for Wednesday - you're a star and a true gentleman - my songs just sound so lovely with your accompaniment.. Looking forward to your next batch of songs Linda x
