Influences
My main influence on most of my music and all of my electric guitar-craft is Steve Vai. I was lucky enough to actually meet him this past September too! My favorite band has always been Creed since i was about 7. They broke up and formed Alter Bridge which is also a really good band. Lately I've been getting into Shinedown mostly because of Brent Smith's vocals which are amazing. I play some Metallica too. Guns 'n' Roses is pretty good. Three Doors Down isn't really an influence but I like them too. Mostly I listen to Rock, Hard Rock, Alternative Rock, Metal, Guitar Fusion, and Speed Metal. Not that much speed metal, but Steve Vai has written some really good stuff in that style.
You can hear me on a new CD called "Across the Waves" along with 4 other artists around the world! Just click this link to buy at PayPal:
Hey guys, it's Mike. Just a little about my band experience: By now most of you know that I was in a band called HAY-WyRE for a about a year as the lead singer. But I left the band, and about a year later I was in a band called The Identities. Things didn't work out too well. Now I'm in a band called "Siravo", but this myspace page is for my solo project. I'm a guitarist, a singer, and a pianist. I play both acoustic and electric, but the electric a lot more. I record my songs myself from my room with my Boss BR-864 mixing board, and I use Cubase LE for more advanced editing. I hope you enjoy listening to my music as much as I enjoy making it. Thanks for stopping by and make sure you pass my link along! www.myspace.com/mikesiravomusic
ATTENTION: You can purchase all of my tracks in my SNOCAP store for 89 cents...that's pretty cheap. You can hear me on a new CD called Across the Waves (along with a few other compilation albums which you can message me about). The BUY NOW button is in a few places on this page. I'm working on a lot of projects at the same time, so keep checking back for more updates. Questions? Feel free to ask me anything. Thanks!
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
The descriptions of all my original songs has been moved to a bulletin called "original songs play-by-play". So if you want to read about them, check it out!
All music, instruments, and lyrics were written and recorded by Mike Siravo, except for little comments made by Dr. Patwell in Dr. Patwell (Flamin' Joe). My brother Zac also played the slap bass parts in Hauntings part 2 (Entrance to the Exit), and my friend Paul played drums on Wilderness of Consternation.
