About me:

I have lived enough for several people to have had a lifetime. I have the reputation of being a well known pool player and I have been playing for nearly 45 years. My pool life is a great deal of why I have lived so much. The experiences that I have enjoyed or endured could fill volumes on the shelves. My reality is that I am a simple man with the highest of concerns for my fellow man. I like spending time at home, being with my wife, Sonia, and our two chihuahuas. But I feel at peace the most when I get up early, before light, and go into the deep woods and sit on a stump where I might remain motionless for at least an hour. Then, when the owls wake up the turkeys and the turkeys come down from the trees to tell all the other animals the coast is clear, I feel closest to God. All the other animals come out one-by-one to greet the new day. Those are the moments that mean most to me. I grew up in Kirkwood, MO until the beginning of my sophomore year in High school. That was in 1968, and the place we moved to, Memphis, TN, was not exactly a great choice, but was where my father went to work. Martin Luther was killed sometime before we arrived and the racial tension was everpresent. I finished High School in Texas and then moved to Arkansas. There is too much life to share to be able to tell it between then and now. I live in the St. Louis area and am married to my beautiful wife, Sonia. We have a meager method of life. Sonia is a bartender and I own my own my business. We travel but usually spend very little time away from home and gardening or just fixing and upgrading our home is our main home interest. I started working when I was twelve and I suppose I'll be working till the day that I die. After serving 4 years in the Navy as a dental tech during the closing years of the Vietnam War I managed to turn my life in a good direction and I went to shool. Eventually I got my Master's in Business/Marketing and actually held good responsible corporate positions. I still try to play pool everyday even if it's just for a few minutes. My wife and I usually go out to eat every Saturday and I play poker on the internet every once in a while.
