I have been playing and writing all my life. i have had the good fortune to play with some amazing musicians. I toured with singer bobbi martin(united artists) she had 2 big hit records in the seventies. i played with blues greats
luther allison,and robert lockwood and johnny shines. i have gigged with ken lyons and tombstone blues,as well as many others.
I have recorded 5 albums and done an awfull lot of studio work as well.
My main interest these days is playing my acoustic guitars...and i have some good ones! I would like to tour this spring...do a little traveling.
I would really like to play in new york and then head down the coastline.
I am comfortable in a coffe house or a pub. I do restaurants,folk festivals,and just about any gig that is suited for the acoustic music i love.
I operate a nice recording studio and have recorded albums for lots of great musicians,done some jingles and T.V. work as well.
I hope to finish my next C.D for the summer ahead. I am very blessed to be able to make a decent living playing music and i never take it for granted.
I started playing in the sixties and i have been gigging steady since the seventies. I collect guitars and play what i own. I just love the sound of a great acoustic instrument. Having played for this long i have come to realize that a great song is what comes first!
