I'm trying to promote Megan - she's a Blues singer and just 22 years old - here in England. You can download her songs from my web sites. I'm in to most types of music. But listen to the blues a lot just lately.
Movies
I like action films. I liked Sandra Bullock in Speed. I don't like the guy in the Die Hard movies, but the movies were good and he can sort of act. A short documentary called The Good Woman of Bangkok, will stick in my memory. I felt so sorry for the woman it was about.
Television
Utlimate force with Ross Kemp. It's about the SAS. DoNovAn is about DNA profiling and stars Tom Conti. Samantha Bond is good in that too. She played Miss Moneypenny in some of the Bond movies (I liked those too). The Eleventh Hour with Patrick Stewart. Of course all the old BBC comedy with Ronnie Barker, David Jason and a list of great British comedy actors too numerous to mention. I liked As time goes by with Nicolas Lindhurst and Derva Kirwan. Derva Kirwan was good in Ballykissangel too. Allo Allo and Dad's Army are classics. I could go on.
Books
Great Expectations - Charles Dickens. But I'm a lifetime education freak - so mostly non - fiction. I like books on computing, local history, humour.
Heroes
Doctors and nurses, the good ones. Scientists who actually make things better for us. Not interested in so called celebrities. I liked it when Chantelle won Celebrity Big Brother! She wasn't a celebrity - just a nice girl with bucket loads of charisma. The BBC should have people like her on as presenters instead of the usual perverts and prats. Wogan earns millions - Chantelle would do his job for a fraction of what he gets and enjoy it. There are lots of Chantelles. There are lots of great singer, some on Myspace, never given a chance. Don't get in to bed with the right people!
Who I'd like to meet: I like meeting intelligent people. I like caring people. I dislike bullies, especially the ones who use psychological bullying. I know how to deal with them. I went to a school that taught us we were better than other people. So if I come across someone arrogant. I can be even worse!

Hi Mike! How are you? Nice to hear from you. I saw Nan a couple of days ago, been really worrying about her. Wish I lived closer to you both and could see you more- or wish I could drive and would be able to pop over whenever i like. I'm not at college- done my two years and I've finished now, I was planning to go back for three consecutive days every month to do teacher's training, but it didn't seem worth it without a teaching placement aswell, so instead I'm busy setting up my own business to teach privately from home which I am qualified to do now. Going ok, should get started after xmas. Hope you're well and health not too bad? xxx lots of love
