Just little old me and a few friends when the recording needs it (probably most of the time!!) Tim Lee wrote most of the song "Stay" and was the lead vocalist - great voice!
Influences
Paul Weller, Keane, Alanis, Toploader, Pink Floyd, Muse, Talk Talk, U2, World Party, Water boys, Kaiser Chiefs, Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Bowie, The Cure, Supertramp, Simon and Garfunkel, Crowded House, Steely Dan, Eagles, Talk Talk, Simple Minds, KT Tunstall, massive attack, Evanescence, Supergrass, Marillion, Supertramp, Joe Dolce (Only kidding)
Sounds Like
Nothing on Earth - well,,,, erm! maybe a bit U2, crowded house, Weller ish and some World Party - I think!!
Having been in bands since I was 14 - which was 23 years ago - ah, I can hear you adding up - I decided to try to promote what I have written online.
My songs have been recorded in quite a few countries now, and although I haven't made much money yet, this is success enough to me. It's been fun working with artists through the net and I hope to collaborate with more like-minded musician who are level headed, not too full of themselves and want to write music for the sake of expression - rather than a quick trip to fame.
I am a singer, guitarist, keyboardist, didgereedoo player, samplist, percussionist, istist!
I have gigged extensively within the midlands area in a semi successful band called Carnival Earth as well as many other musical incarnations!

The "Stay" video is absolutely Fabulous! I didn't even know you made one. Wow... now there's a REAL video (mine is really just a promo piece). Love the song, too, Mike. You sure are movin' on up in the world!! Love it... ;-)
How very dare you assume I only like satanic music! I also like music about monsters and vampires and warriors. (hahahaha) Yes, mostly I like to sing blues and old rock'n'roll - classic! Oh and you should see the pics that Nick has - he retouched the ones you took using his dad's special photo-software and they're really bright and clear (not that they weren't before haha)
YO! Those pictures of me and the pinchy ROCK! Oh and you can fiddle about with myspace by using a myspace code website or a myspace generator. (google it) there's loads you can do! Can you send me all the other pics from those 2 shore dives please? (pipefish, Nick, you and the England flag, swimming thru the gulley etc.) x
Hey man, I dig the music. Thanks so much for the nice words. I hope we can continue to get good feedback from the UK. I am all about a tour over there. Good luck......
Mikey Darlin' ~ it's not my birthday, but I know myspace has it listed as upcoming. They have glitches in their new birthday system. "Tom" made an announcement about that, so it's good they know about it and are working on fixing it. Nice of you to write when you thought is was my b-day, though! For the record, my birthday is September 19th.
Happy New Year (in advance) to ya! Let's catch up soon. I think I failed to return an email you sent awhile back. Sorry about that. I know you asked me something and darn... can't remember now what it was. Refresh my memory, O.K.?
Great comment you just wrote in my blog about my song "I Wasn't A Friend." I appreciate that. Thanks, also, for joining my new myspace group. I just started a "What's new with my friends?" thread there, so do come by and write there when you have a moment and, as I said there, shameless self-promotion is not discouraged, either! ;-)
