Detroit Rock and Roll mostly (like The Stooges, SRC, Detroit, Bob Seger System, Grand Funk Railroad, Savage Grace, etc.), but others have influenced me along the years, like: Alice Cooper, Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, Mark Farner's Grand Funk Railroad, Peter Gabriel, Steve Vai, The Duel Guitar Work of Steve "The Deacon" Hunter and Dick Wagner, The Incredible Mohawk Bros., The White Mud Blues Band, the collected works of Burl Ives, and of course, anything from Roger Miller.
Sounds Like
Fingernails on a chalkboard or that really embarrassing squirting fart sound in church or when you run the cat's tail over with a mini-bike or the sound of a doctor's glove snapping shut on his wrist prior to the big bend over or that screeching sound of the brakes on the truck behind you just before they rear-end you!
I've been playing keyboards since 1964 and guitar since 1970. I've been in many Detroit area groups like The Incredible Mohawk Bros., Flirt, The Roomates, Wayne Kramer Band (Top 40 cabaret version), Sweetleaf, Sea, The Motor City Orphans, to name a few. I currently write and record at my humble home studio, Moe Hawk Studio. Although I have pretty much retired from the live stages (except for a very few formidable exceptions), I've played on recordings by Highbinder from Toledo, Flirt, The Incredible Mohawk Bros., Sea, Wayne Kramer, The Roomates, The Motor City Orphans, and many others as well. I am also an auxiliary member of The White Mud Blues Band, which finally had their official reunion shows in October of 2007 and it was the most fun of any band I've ever been involved with! Forgive me if I've omitted anyone that's important, because I named a few that weren't. Got it? GET IT!!!
In lieu of all of that, I have decided to end my tirade on the internet as time is my most important asset these days and I wasted too much time online, and here, specifically. I'm not saying that I didn't have fun, but my life has changed so much this year that I don't have time or strength for this anymore. The site still will be here and feature the music, so come here and enjoy my past! Thanks for your patronage through the years.

HELLO WORLD! HAPPY SEPTEMBER! In America, it is obvious our National Media WILL NOT report on ALL the news we need to make informed decisions. The slogan "All the News that's Fit to Print" actually is meant to read 'all the news WE decide we want to print'. The MEDIA has earned our distrust & disgust. Like it or not, the Internet has now become our source for information. Not the news that's fit to print, but EVERYTHING. 'We the People' can discern in our own minds what the Truth is or is not, by seeing, reading & verifying ALL the available data. The Media has only itself to blame for this. In America, TeleJournalistas like Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs (sorry Glenn & Lou), Greta, Rachel, Larry, et al (in fact virtually every one of them) have poisoned the industry by spinning the news to fit their own personal agendas, instead of covering all the facts & evidence. The local news reporters are mere puppets mouthing only what they are told to say. Yes, they do give us some of the picture, but PURPOSELY do not report it all. 9/11 is a perfect example of this. The most insidious crime in our nations history, and THEY REMAIN SILENT ABOUT IT. Also, "President" Obama's credentials are SUSPECT, and they refuse to investigate/report. For this the National Media must be held accountable in the Trials to come. There is a Revolution afoot in America today, a Positive & Peaceful Revolution, and We the People, the Rightful Masters of our own Destiny, will not be fooled any longer.
