Avidly involved in Cleveland's artscape for more than 10 years, Bob Peck's street art background continues to influence his work today. Recording our city with movement and texture, Bob paints surreal landscapes by layering spray enamel and acrylic paints. Creating gestural abstractions, he brings reflections of the past and present to his canvases. Nostalgic and diffused, these still lives offer an expression of connection and kinship to his surroundings.
"They Never Saw It Coming" chronicles the expansion of Bob's portfolio, from adolescence and adulthood. This transcension of work exhibits the artist's talents and progression from his early graffiti work to current fine art pieces. Opening reception 7-10 pm Friday, 20 June 2008

Hey long time no chat. I moved to Chicago to go to Moody Bible Institute for youth min. and I got a job at the tech department here. The funny thing is I know more about computers then 90% of the people I work with (including some of my managers). But its still cool to have a job in computers here. Going to probably open up a web design business out here next year. Been mainly doing T-shirt graphic design for money.
I plan on going for more web design up in Chicago when I'm done with my youth min. degree (going to combine the two). Know of any good web design colleges in Chicago by chance? O and how've you been?
would that not be great if we could tell stalkers just by their brightly colored clothing? also as far as studio visits...i'm usually there on saturday all day, sundays and sometimes friday nights. but i think towards the end of the month i'm taking a few vacation days to play w/mud...
