Snippet of video-clip "Asteris" on the album Orphica. Mikhail's interior organs grow thorns, jewels and moths!
Mikhail performs at Kings Place concert hall, London January 2009. Alithia Spuri-Zampetti's design enhance the postmodern baroque drama.
A short clip of Mikhail's performance with Cantamus Choir, directed by Pamela Cook. The entire work - entitled 'A Stranger Here' - is 11 minutes long and composed especially for the choir by Mikhail.
Active in music and art, and coined by critics a ’sound alchemist’ (Le Monde) and a ’primitive futurist’ (Almost Cool), Mikhail's work combines postmodern genre-bending, innovation and raw emotional expression. Recent international projects include acclaimed MORPHICA with over 30 music, design and art collaborators; solo album ORPHICA (2007) ; collaborations with members of the early-music group The Hilliard Ensemble and contemporary choir Cantamus, Juice Ensemble, music releases by pop experimentalist Björk, remixing by Dj Spooky alongside Aphex Twin, Ikeda, Sonic Youth, Steve Reich and others, as well comissions from Prada.
Mikhail has performed at Bush Hall (London), Queen Elizabeth Hall (London), Synch Festival (Athens), Colston Hall (Bristol), Model Arts & Niland Gallery (Ireland) and other spaces, and forthcoming projects in 2009 include performances at Tate Britain and Tate Modern (London).

Lithuanian contemporary music is a hidden gem of the European scene, characterised by a proto-pagan minimalism and a folk inspired sensibility. Sutartinės form the bedrock of much new Lithuanian music, together with electronica and the canonic inventions of composer Rytis Mažulis. Cellist and curator Anton Lukoszevieze plays and introduces the Chordos String Quartet, plus rarely heard music by leading Fluxus member George Mačiūnas.
