Pianist Miki Hayama, originally from Kyoto, Japan has seen her star rise on New York jazz scene. She has worked with Kenny Garrett, Ralph Peterson, Valery Ponomarev and even Aretha Franklin and currently Nnenna Freelon, to name a few..She has appeared on Tia Fuller's releases "Healing Space" and " Pillar of Strength". Her own 2006 sophomore release " Prelude to a Kiss" recieved a five star rating in Swing Journal. Her CD has been aired on WBGO radio station and year of 2008, she was invited at WBGO studio and interviewed by Ms. Rhonda Hamilton.
