Sounds Like
"A pleasing mixture of the delicacy of Cat Power and the quirky appeal of Mirah...lovers of Cat Power, Mirah and even Helium or Mary Timony's solo works should enjoy this reflective and compelling recording." South of mainstream.com
"Miki Huber makes intimate-sounding, clever songs and sings them in a hushed voice. I thought of early Suzanne Vega while hearing this...quirky and lovely." CollectedSounds.com
From the Mojave Desert, the Fjords of North Idaho, New Zealand, France, and the Moon, she hails, and croons a delicate, insidious brand of soul. An inspiration to dream and to listen a hell of a lot more and scourge a hell of a lot less. Stop!... there is life here GODDAMNIT!
She has recently moved her aa-ssself from New York City to L.A. and is finding the wild west surprisingly inspiring... Recently back from the Tree House Music Tour with Happy Niceweather...and an awesome venture to Black Rock City for Burning Man she's back to sharing her secrets in L.A.. Her cover of Martin Newell's "I Will Haunt Your Room" was featured on the tribute CD, ReNewell (2000).
