the time has come for us to release Futurists Part 2, our second Retrofuturism sampler. it’s 12 tracks of instrumental music, and this time we have some great guests as well as a custom cover by ugr.
dang, the new one is nice. i love how it stops for just a moment, and there's that haze of reverb and then those nasty disto laden drums come back in...good moment.
oh nothin just chillin right now, bout to come home from Hawaii, kinda weird here cause there are so many chickens everywhere, just random, wild chickens.
well i don't really use a typical program. I use audacity, which is free software. Therefore it's not too much better than sound recorder...I also use a 12 year old mic that came with my first computer- one of the white stick shaped ones. Pretty much all the sound is from a fender telecaster or my epi acoustic. As for the drums I take different perc noises (kick, snare, hi hat, ride cymbal, w/e) and copy and paste em in a rhythmic fashion. It takes forever and sucks a big one, but being blazed really makes it easier.
ha a tad. today it was only 92, but the humidity was killer...felt like i was swimming in boiling pea soup. And at work I'm outside pretty much all day playing with 5 year olds (pre-school). Awesome. If you ever have anything you want remixed I'd love to toy with a track. peace
things are decent. I'm trying to finish another album by the end of July and work a job, so it's a little nuts. I'm in Florida by the way, and I'm not stalking you- it says arizonia in your profile...later mang
