Sounds Like
A skip around the world and a journey through the mind.
Milan started playing guitar at the age of 11. By age 13 he was rocking out the cafeteria at Grosse Ile Middle School playing Guns N' Roses, Skid Row, Megadeth, and Metallica covers with his friends. Throughout high school he played with the band JFK, which was writing a fair share of original songs. After graduating, Milan went on to graduate from Oakland University with a B.A. in Art History and minors in philosophy and studio art. While at OU he joined the band Tribal Traktion and toured regionally, on and off, for 5 years. After a dramatic break up with Tribal, he went on to play with Dear Maybe for a couple of shows, and also tried forming new projects. Unsatisfied with the musical results born from these projects, he became lost without inspiration. Carlos Castaneda to the rescue! Reborn through the ceremonial use of many different strains of psilocybin and constant outdoor activity, Milan was put into motion. Three years of musical experimentation, along with the search for tone and the necessary gear to create his aural vision, Milan went onto record his first EP, "The Jihad EP." Since this first recording, an entire new world of possibilities had emerged. New love for his present wife, Angela, along with many new friendships, would further the personal, spiritual, and musical evolution of Milan. And here he stands constantly evolving into new musical directions, playing from the core of the unexplored inward journey, and presenting it to the listener to join him on his quest. Milan is evolving.
