About me:

The new and young designer, Nicole Milazzo was born in New York where her interest for fashion began at an early age. Milazzo expressed her passion by often changing the design of a garment to her own trendy style. Using music videos and magazines as inspiration, she created sketch books full of designs. Milazzo’s fashion education began in 1996 by taking a class in Fashion Design, followed by receiving a certificate in Dressmaking and Design. To continue following trends and learning more about styling, she moved to Florida and attended Manhattan Beauty Academy where she obtained a Cosmetology license. Considering that fashion and beauty go hand and hand, Milazzo enrolled in the International Academy of Design and Technology where she has received an Associates Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing and is continuing on for a Bachelors Degree. Milazzo can perform the full life cycle of garment from concept, through pattern design, construction, and fashion show production. Her skills and talents make her well suited for the fashion industry. She has showcased these skills in many fashion shows and internships, including working at New York Fashion Week for Naomi Campbell’s company, N.C. Connect. Milazzo also designs make-up and hairstyles for photo shoots. She has passion and enthusiasm, which shows in her work. She observes her environment for inspiration to enhance her designs. Her mind is her working scrapbook filled with textures, colors, and silhouettes. Milazzo’s main goal is to provide the women wearing her clothes with self-confidence and beauty, which demands attention. Knowing that every time they walk into a room heads will turn.
